The Zyeshu are a people who have not traditionally been particularly powerful or influential, but have in their own right contributed significantly to world history. Living primarily south of the Kotthorns, they had a long tradition of wandering monks and peddlers who roamed far and wide, and later became a significant segment of the merchant community on the Nakalani. Conquered by the Kothari Exatai, they remain a fairly understated people, contributing significantly to the maintenance of that empire on the southern side of the Kotthorns. The vast majority adhere to the faith of Indagahor despite substantial missionary efforts by the surrounding Iralliam states, a consequence of their rich, unique, almost isolated culture.
