The Order of the Poppy is an exclusively female Eastern Aitahist religious order that is popular within the Dual Empire, although it has extended numerous missionary efforts outside its borders. The order found many adherents from the lowborn of society, as swearing the Savirai mandate of obligation to the goddess released them from their temporal obligations to their masters. The Order is widely popular for its sensuous and intimate style of worship, with rituals that are descended from and inspired from former love and fertility goddesses that preceded widely organized religion. The Order's hierarchy is generally limited to a loose organization found within its municipal temples, with no overarching organization atop this structure.
