Gabas (ca. RM 470 - ?) was a Gallatene preacher and military leader during the Great Ordeal and its immediate aftermath, and was a prominent member of the group gathered around Altaro Javan that created the Halyrate. Emerging from the devastated countryside in RM 494, he gathered around him a nucleus of refugees that eventually became the military Order of the Sadorishi, and is held in high esteem by that Order as its founder. He disappeared from Nahar in RM 520, at the same time as Javan and the other early leaders of the Halyrate, and his ultimate fate remains unknown.
