Largest of all waters, the Nakalani is the world-ocean, famed for its size, its beauty, and its utter cruelty. Cyclones are common in the late summer, while even in the rest of the year, less sizable but still potent storms patrol its boundaries. Sea life is incredibly diverse, with massive reefs off the shores of many islands and even the mainland in some places, though this occasionally leads to a shipwreck or two. The sailors on the Nakalani have a much less easy time with their lives than most others: this area produces what are easily the most seaworthy vessels in the known world. Trade along its shores has enriched every civilization.
