Moon

The Moon (Satar: Aresha, Faronun: Laeru , Liealb: Rithya, Naran: Cólail, Faronun: Cólail, Sierdha: Szaebale) is the only known satellite of the world, orbiting the planet roughly once every 30 days (Kothari astronomers delivered the most accurate measurement to date -- 7 orbits every 207 days). Tidally locked with its primary, it displays a complicated surface to the planet -- valleys and plains, mountains and volcanoes, ever mutable and multicolored. Hues of black, white, gold, and red swirl about the orb, occasionally hinting at gargantuan geological processes which are visible even from the surface of our world.

Faeronun typically have different names depending on the predominant color on the moon at that time: Laeru is the Green Moon, Naerou is the Yellow Moon, and Maerano is the Red Moon.
