Charitas I was the last king of the independent city-state of Epichirisi and the founder of the Opulensi Empire, forging a marriage alliance with Ormiskos and subduing the other states of Spitos by conquest. Notable, too, for founding the organization of the Daharai and for attempting (unsuccessfully) to supplant Indagahor with a cult based around himself. The Charitan Assumption takes Charitas' conversion to Indagahor as the starting point for its dating system.
