A Maninist kingdom established after a long brutal wars between the Berathi tribes and the Empire of Parthe, Beratca is the most powerful Maninist state currently existing. Originating after a centuries-long conflict for independence against various invaders, the tribes temporarily united to beat back a 30 year long invasion by the Empire of Parthe. As part of the terms for peace, the Parthecans "aided" the victorious Berathi in the construction of cities and the establishment of a monarchry. Early discontent over centralization provided an opening for an Acajuren invasion, and only the reaffirmation of Berathi loyalty to their new throne prevented their conquest. From these early conflicts, Beratca became one of the most centralized states despite also ruling over one of the most independent peoples alive.
